Weather Update UAE: Fair Conditions with Caution Advised

Today’s weather is anticipated to be generally fair, interspersed with partial cloud cover at intervals. This forecast comes from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Alert Warnings and Visibility Concerns:

The NCM has issued red and yellow alerts for specific regions, cautioning residents about reduced visibility until 9 am today. 

Abu Dhabi Police have echoed this warning, urging motorists to exercise extreme caution, particularly due to foggy conditions.

Safety Measures on Roads:

To ensure road safety, Abu Dhabi Police has implemented adjusted speed limits displayed on electronic boards, notably reducing the speed limit on Al Wiqan-Al Qoua road to 80 km/hr. Motorists are advised to adhere strictly to these changes.

Evening Forecast and Temperature Range:

As the night progresses into Monday morning, an increase in humidity is expected, leading to fog and mist formation in select internal and coastal areas. Light to moderate winds are anticipated during this time.

Temperature variations are projected across the country, with the lowest expected at 11°C in mountainous regions and the highest reaching 30°C in internal areas.
