DUE TO FOG, the NCM has issued red and yellow alerts for parts of the country. Heavy fog is expected in regions highlighted in red, leading to visibility of less than 1,000 meters. Morning fog is anticipated in areas of Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Um Al Quwain.
The NCM has posted fog forecasts on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), indicating that fog will persist until 9:30 a.m.

Abu Dhabi Police have warned motorists about low visibility due to the fog. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards. The speed limitation on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road has been temporarily reduced to 80km/h.
