UAE’s Commitment to Gaza:

In a significant move towards aiding the people of Gaza, the UAE has revealed plans to construct three desalination plants under its Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation. 

These plants, with a capacity of 200,000 gallons per day each, aim to address the critical need for clean drinking water in the region. Upon completion, they are projected to cater to the water needs of 300,000 individuals.

Location and Operations:

Situated in Rafah, the southern Gaza Strip, the construction of these crucial desalination facilities is underway. The Joint Operations Command, operating under the Ministry of Defence, is spearheading this initiative.

Presidential Support and Collaborative Efforts:

The announcement of this humanitarian endeavor, made by President Sheikh Mohamed on November 5, underscores the UAE’s commitment to supporting Palestinian civilians in Gaza. 

Gallant Knight 3 operates through a collaborative effort involving the Joint Operations Command, Emirates Red Crescent, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and Zayed bin Sultan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. This coordination aims to provide comprehensive aid and support to Gaza.
