The Ministry of Education, in a significant move, has partnered with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to drive key programs aimed at promoting environmental education.

• Teacher Training: The partnership seeks to enhance teacher training programs to equip educators with the knowledge and tools to effectively teach environmental and climate-related subjects.
• Children’s Art Competition: An exciting children’s art competition will be organized to encourage young talents to express their creativity and insights on environmental issues.
• “Net-Zero Heroes” Initiative: A pioneering initiative will spotlight individuals and groups making tangible contributions to achieving net-zero emissions, inspiring others to take climate action.

Upcoming Announcement at Cop28: Unveiling the Details

Additional details regarding these programs and initiatives will be unveiled before the upcoming Cop28 conference, scheduled to take place at Expo City Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
