UAE continues its humanitarian efforts as the 13th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients arrives in the country. President Sheikh Mohamed’s directive to provide medical treatment for 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza is being realized, with 98 Palestinians, including 40 children in urgent need of medical assistance, arriving at Zayed International Airport.

The initiative underscores the UAE’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes and solidarity with its brothers in need, as highlighted by the state news agency Wam. With this latest group, the total number of patients and companions received by UAE hospitals reaches 1,154, marking a significant contribution to alleviating suffering and providing crucial medical care.

President Sheikh Mohamed’s meeting with Erin Gore, CEO of World Central Kitchen, further emphasizes the UAE’s dedication to aid delivery to Gaza. Discussions at Qasr Al Watan centered on maximizing aid delivery through various channels, including land, air, and sea. The recent establishment of a maritime corridor from Cyprus to Gaza, facilitating the transportation of food aid, was a key topic. Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s commitment to collaborating with World Central Kitchen to alleviate the plight of Gaza’s residents through concerted efforts.
