UAE Strongly Condemns Israeli Attacks on Gaza Schools

The UAE has strongly criticised the recent Israeli bombing on Al Fakhoura School, which is run by the UNRWA for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has vehemently condemned the recent Israeli bombing of Al Fakhoura School, operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). 

The UAE expressed its denunciation in the strongest terms, condemning not only the attack on Al Fakhoura School but also the assault on Tal Al-Zaatar School. 

Both institutions have been targeted by Israeli forces, drawing strong condemnation from the UAE.

Denouncement of Inhumane Attacks on Gaza Schools and Hospitals:

In addition to the condemnation of specific school bombings, the UAE denounced the inhumane attacks launched by Israel on schools and hospitals in the Gaza Strip. 

The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its categorical rejection of targeting organizations and civilian facilities in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs worried that the immediate priority is to preserve the lives of civilians and provide full protection to organizations and civilian facilities in the Gaza Strip. 

Emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire, the UAE called for efforts to prevent further loss of life. 

It reiterated the importance of protecting civilians and institutions according to international law, including treaties prohibiting their targeting during conflicts.

Urgent Call for International Community Action:

The UAE called on the international community to intensify efforts to avoid escalating tensions in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. 

Furthermore, the UAE urged the global community to advance comprehensive and just peace initiatives, emphasizing the importance of diplomatic measures to address the ongoing crisis. 

The Ministry emphasized the need for sustained and unhindered delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to the Palestinians, underscoring the urgency of collective action to alleviate the suffering of the affected population.
