In reaction to heavy downpours and flooding in several parts of the UAE, classes in all federal government schools will be conducted online on Friday as a safety measure.
The UAE Council of Ministers issued this directive due to adverse weather conditions affecting the country.
Private Institutions Urged to Consider Distance Learning:

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has requested that all private institutions in Dubai “consider distance learning” in response to the ongoing weather conditions.
On Thursday, heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and lightning affected Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and different parts of the Northern Emirates.
This adverse weather forced schools to suspend classes prematurely, and some schools warned parents that students might encounter flooded bus bays.
Online Classes and Cancellations:
Parents and students received school notifications about canceled activities or attending online classes on Friday due to adverse weather conditions.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted varying rain intensities over the next few days, necessitating safety measures and remote learning.
