UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has taken action to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
He has instructed the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence to initiate ‘Gallant Knight 3,’ a dedicated humanitarian operation.
Collaborative Efforts with UAE Organizations:

The leader’s directive emphasizes collaboration with various UAE organizations. Specifically, the Joint Operations Command will work closely with institutions such as the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation, and others.
In addition to financial aid, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has directed the availability of volunteering opportunities.
These opportunities are extended to doctors registered with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, as well as volunteers registered with the Emirates Red Crescent and other humanitarian and charitable entities in the UAE.
Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza:
The ministry of Health in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip reports a grim situation, with a significant loss of life.
The ministry indicates that as of a recent update, at least 9,770 people have been killed since the conflict with Israel began last month.
Disturbingly, this number includes at least 4,800 children. The conflict originated with attacks carried out by Hamas militants in southern Israel, leading to Israeli retaliatory strikes.
Previous Humanitarian Initiatives:
This isn’t the first time President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered such a humanitarian mission.
In the past, the Joint Operations Command launched the “Gallant Knight 2” operation to assist the people of Syria and Turkey during a devastating earthquake.
