UAE extends vital aid and medical support to Gaza strip

Crucial Assistance for Gaza from the UAE

The UAE has intensified its humanitarian efforts by delivering essential food supplies to aid tens of thousands affected by the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Food Parcels for Thousands in Need

Relief teams from the Emirates Red Crescent, representing the UAE government, distributed 12,993 food parcels to approximately 65,000 individuals in Rafah, Khan Younis, and other districts within the Gaza Strip. These parcels included essential food items and powered baby formula, catering to urgent nutritional needs.

UAE’s Ongoing Humanitarian Assistance

As part of the Gallant Knight 3 initiative initiated by President Sheikh Mohamed, the UAE has continuously dispatched vital supplies, comprising food and medical resources, by both land and air routes in recent weeks.

Inaugural Services of UAE’s Gaza Hospital

The UAE’s field hospital in the Gaza Strip, inaugurated last Saturday, commenced its medical services this week. 

The hospital’s first cases involved two Palestinian youths with severe fractures. Both patients, a 17-year-old boy with ankle and knee injuries and a 13-year-old with a fractured leg, underwent successful surgeries performed by a specialized Emirati medical team.

Comprehensive Medical Facilities

The 150-bed hospital boasts various departments dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care for both adults and children, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to aiding those in need within the Gaza Strip.
