The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced January 1, 2024, as a holiday for federal government employees, aligning with the New Year celebration.
Extended Weekends in 2024:
As per the Cabinet’s announcement, UAE residents can anticipate at least 13 public holidays in 2024.
Four of these occasions, including New Year’s Day, have the potential to result in extended weekends, with the longest break spanning six days.
