The UAE welcomed the sixth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients on Tuesday, in line with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives to provide medical treatment for 1,000 injured kids and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip.

Humanitarian Operation “Gallant Knight 3”:

Initiated on November 5, the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation aims to deliver urgent humanitarian support to the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The UAE has sent 131 aircraft and over 14,000 tonnes of food, medical, and relief supplies.

A field hospital with a capacity of over 150 beds has been established in Gaza, and three water desalination plants in the Egyptian Rafah region contribute to supplying drinking water to Gaza.

Community Relief Campaign “Tarahum for Gaza”:

The UAE also executed the “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign, a community relief effort showing solidarity with Palestinian children and families affected by the ongoing conflict.

This campaign focuses on alleviating the suffering of vulnerable groups, particularly children, women, and the elderly.

Educational Support:

In a continued commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, the UAE has welcomed 33 students from the Gaza Strip to the United Arab Emirates University.

These students will pursue their education at the state’s expense, reflecting the UAE’s dedication to offering relief and assistance to the Palestinian population.
