The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued forecasts indicating cloudy conditions across eastern, northern, and coastal regions, heightening the likelihood of rainfall.

Recent days have witnessed a noticeable decline in temperatures, with Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah recording a low of 6.6°C on Saturday at 6:30 am. The subsequent day saw a slight increase to 7.9°C, signaling a general trend of decreasing temperatures.

The NCM’s weekly weather bulletin forecasts heavy rainfall encompassing all emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and Sharjah, on Thursday. This expected downpour accompanies the projection of cloudy skies across key areas.

In conjunction with the forecasted weather conditions, the NCM has issued a yellow weather warning advising residents to remain cautious due to expected strong wind speeds of up to 40 kph. 

These winds have the potential to stir up dust and sand, contributing to rough sea conditions particularly in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah.
