A Heartbreaking Incident in Muwaileh

In a devastating turn of events, a Pakistani man and his 11-year-old daughter lost their lives due to suffocation following a fire outbreak in their apartment in Sharjah’s Muwaileh area. The incident occurred in the early hours of today and has left the community in shock.

Critical Condition and Recovery of Family Members

The man’s wife is currently battling for her life in a critical condition at Al Qassimi Hospital. The couple’s other two children, a nine-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy, who also suffered from suffocation, are now recovering.

The fire reportedly broke out on the third floor of the apartment building. Brigadier Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director-General of Sharjah Civil Defence, informed that the firefighters reached the site within minutes and managed to contain the blaze rapidly. Other tenants in the three-story building were immediately evacuated to ensure their safety.
