A devastating explosion at a Chinese-funded nickel-processing plant in eastern Indonesia’s Sulawesi Island claimed the lives of at least 12 individuals and left 39 others injured on Sunday.
The incident occurred at PT Indonesia Tsingshan Stainless Steel, situated in the Morowali Industrial Park, a significant center for the country’s nickel production.
