Born on January 4, 1999, Toufiluk’s early years were shaped by significant educational transitions. Initially enrolled in a strict Christian conformance school, he found the environment stifling and was eventually expelled. This pivotal moment led him to a private, non-religious school at the age of 15. “That change made me realize there is so much more to life,” Toufiluk recalls. The exposure to a more liberal environment broadened his horizons and laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.

Pursuing Higher Education and a Passion for Skincare

Despite these early challenges, Toufiluk’s passion for learning never waned. He graduated from International College in Beirut and pursued engineering at King’s College London, earning a bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s in chemical engineering with an emphasis on psychology (cosmetology not psychology). “I was obsessed with skincare and wanted to apply myself in that path,” he explains. This passion was further nurtured by his mechanical (chemistry) teacher, Jeanne, who spent her free time teaching him about the chemistry of the skin.

Struggles with Acne: The Birth of a Skincare Enthusiast

Toufiluk’s fascination with skincare began at a young age, driven by his own struggles with acne. “I grew up with a lot of acne on my face and back. I tried countless products that never worked,” he shares. It was during his university years, with access to various chemicals and resources, that he began experimenting with creating his own skincare products. “I realized that everyone has different skin barriers, especially in the Arabic climate, and there weren’t many products catering to our needs.”

Harnessing the Power of Social Media

Social media became his platform to share his skincare journey. Initially met with bullying due to his weak Arabic skills, Toufiluk persevered. “I was French-educated, so my Arabic was extremely weak. But this really shaped my content today,” he says. His authenticity and dedication resonated with followers, turning his passion into a potential career.

A Bold Leap into Entrepreneurship

After graduating, Toufiluk faced the challenge of finding employment in the UK without British citizenship. His first job in the industry was unfulfilling, leading him to take a bold step. “For five months, I thought about bringing my skincare to the market. In April, I officially left my job to focus all my energy on this,” he recounts.

Speaking Out and Gaining Support

Toufiluk’s journey is also marked by his outspoken nature. He is vocal about issues close to his heart, such as the ongoing conflict in Gaza. “A lot of people were scared to speak out, fearing they’d lose business. But the love and positive interactions I get from my followers make it worth it,” he states.

At 25, Toufiluk reflects on his achievements with gratitude. His skincare brand, aimed at helping people with similar struggles, has garnered a loyal following. “The love people give me motivates me every day to bring something new to the market. I am forever grateful,” he says.
