Inside the Lifestyle of the Indian-Origin Billionaire with a Love for Rolls-Royce and Extravagant Number Plates
Balvinder Singh Sahni, an Indian-origin businessman based in Dubai, exemplifies the ultra-rich lifestyle prevalent among Dubai’s millionaires and billionaires. Known as “Abu Salah,” Sahni has gained notoriety for his extravagant collection of Rolls-Royce vehicles, each adorned with pricey registration plates. This collection was showcased in a YouTube video on the “Mo Vlogs” channel, where Sahni’s opulent lifestyle was on full display.
Sahni, the founder and chairman of the RSG Group of Companies, operates businesses in various sectors, including automotive, real estate, and manufacturing, primarily in the Middle East. His automobile collection is predominantly composed of Rolls-Royce models, including several Cullinans and Phantom VIII sedans. Each vehicle in this collection, valued at over Rs 5–6 crores, features unique number plates, with the numbers “1” and “27” in both single- and double-digit formats.
The value of these license plates is staggering, with prices ranging from $8 to $10 million (approximately Rs 60 to 84 crore), surpassing even the cost of the Rolls-Royce cars they are attached to. This extravagant spending was highlighted when Sahni purchased a new Rolls-Royce Cullinan, selecting the registration number “Dubai D 5”. The license plate for this Cullinan alone cost an astonishing $17 million (about Rs 141 crore).
In addition to his Rolls-Royce collection, Sahni also owns a black Mercedes-AMG G63, which features a distinctive single-digit number. His luxurious lifestyle extends beyond his vehicles; his home, equipped with custom furniture designed by Bentley, showcases the same level of opulence
