Undeterred by financial hurdles, YAS channeled her passion into creating opportunities within her community. At 18, she founded the YAS Music and Dance studio in Dubai. This venture aimed to bridge the gap in the city’s commercial music and dance scene, offering classes, workshops, and masterclasses with celebrity choreographers. Opening the studio was a daunting task, but it solidified her commitment to choreography and teaching. “Opening my studio was honestly a very scary thing for me! I was kind of thrown into the deep end in terms of choreography and teaching,” YAS admitted. Through perseverance, she honed her skills and developed a love for the process of choreographing.

YAS’s musical journey gained momentum when she began recording her own songs at 16. Her single “Insecure” released in 2021, Their latest single, One More Time, featuring UK artist Rory Hope, is out now. drew inspiration from her experiences with bullying and the quest for self-worth. Additionally, navigating the industry has taught her discernment in her personal and professional relationships. “This industry has also shown me who is who, who is fake and who is truly there for me and ready to support me,” she reflected.
