The Brave Table Makes Its Grand Debut in the UAE

Brave Table

The Brave Table podcast marked a major milestone on Friday, 11 April 2025, with a soul-stirring, sold-out live event celebrating its 300th episode and three-year anniversary. Hosted by the dynamic Dr. Neeta Bhushan, the evening brought together more than 100 guests at the stunning Sohum Wellness Centre for an intimate night of storytelling, deep connection, and personal transformation.

Wellness, holistic health, and personal growth enthusiasts gathered to reflect on self-worth, release stories that no longer serve them, and embrace brave, heartfelt conversations. The event also celebrated the official UAE launch of The Brave Table Live — Neeta’s newest in-person experience designed to foster authentic dialogue and build heartfelt community.

The night was deeply personal, as Dr. Neeta Bhushan was joined by her loved ones, including her husband Ajit Nawalkha (co-founder of Mindvalley), their children, and extended family. In a sweet and playful moment, Neeta’s son energized the room by announcing her arrival in 20 minutes, followed by Ajit stepping onto the stage to deliver a warm, emotional introduction before rallying everyone for a joyful group photo.

“To be surrounded by my family, friends, and a community of open-hearted souls for this moment was beyond what I ever imagined,” said Dr. Neeta Bhushan. “This wasn’t just about celebrating 300 episodes — it was about holding space for real, brave conversations and honoring what it means to show up fully.”

The crowd came alive for a special live interview with the one and only Marisa Peer, who delivered empowering insights about releasing limiting beliefs and stepping into one’s truth. The session ended on a fun and thought-provoking note with a rapid-fire Q&A round that had the audience laughing and reflecting all at once.

“The energy in that room was electric,” said Marisa Peer. “The vulnerability, wisdom, and openness that flowed through those conversations were incredibly moving. It was a true honor to be part of The Brave Table Live.”

As a surprise moment, Gary Lineham, founder of Human Garage and a close friend of Neeta, was invited from the audience to speak. He captivated the crowd with his insights on nervous system healing and body-based wellness, leading everyone through a powerful series of somatic exercises that helped release tension and reconnect with their bodies. The impact was both grounding and uplifting.

The evening was further enriched by the contributions of the event’s thoughtful sponsors.
Dr. Jenna from Zoime Longevity Clinic shared insights into how optimal wellness combines mind, body, soul, and science — from lab diagnostics to detox and holistic health protocols.
Meanwhile, The Health Nag showcased a curated collection of high-quality supplements supporting gut health, energy, and daily vitality.

The magical setting of Sohum Wellness Centre provided a serene backdrop with activations that nurtured mind, body, and soul. Guests enjoyed immersive healing experiences, including a mesmerizing sound bath led by healer Ian Manel, as well as intuitive tarot card readings and massages — all within Sohum’s lush, brand-new outdoor sanctuary. The all-vegan food and nourishing soul drinks rounded out the evening’s wellness experience beautifully.

Every guest walked away with a signed copy of Dr. Neeta’s bestselling book That Sucked. Now What?, along with a generous wellness goodie bag sponsored by Scoop Wholefoods.

Throughout the evening, Neeta engaged her audience with raw, brave questions that inspired vulnerable shares and deep connection. The space became a living reflection of healing, learning, and real human emotion.

“We learned, we reflected, we connected — soul to soul,” Neeta shared. “From the beautiful guests who came to support, to those who flew in from around the world, to the Sohum team who made the night flow like a dream — it was all truly unforgettable.

And to my husband — thank you for introducing me with so much love and for holding the masculine energy that allows me to surrender fully into my feminine. So many women are still operating in a trauma response of doing everything themselves. I’m grateful to have a safe space to just be. And of course, to my kids cheering me on — you are my biggest inspiration.”

Dr. Neeta Bhushan concluded the night by expressing heartfelt gratitude to every guest, partner, and speaker who helped bring The Brave Table Live to life.

“This was more than an event. It was a celebration of community, authenticity, and the transformative power of storytelling. Thank you to everyone who came with open hearts and helped make this milestone such a beautiful memory.”
