“Jawan” Breaks Records:

In addition to its Middle East milestone, “Jawan” has also claimed the title of the “highest-grossing Hindi movie in the history of cinema (original language),” amassing an impressive INR 1,068.58 crore (approximately Dh 470,708,701.85).

The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, featuring a star-studded cast that included south superstars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, as well as Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” co-star Deepika Padukone. Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover also played pivotal roles.

“Jawan” Overcomes Challenges:

Director Atlee recalled the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic when even a film with a budget of INR 30-40 crore (approximately Dh 132,370,715 to Dh 17,649,428) was a tough sell.

Despite the odds, Shah Rukh Khan greenlit “Jawan,” a film with an estimated budget of INR 300 crore (approximately Dh 132,370,715), and the film achieved blockbuster status within three days of release.

“Jawan” has set records at the box office and garnered attention for its success, with Shah Rukh Khan’s electrifying performance in the Emirates and the film’s trailer being showcased at the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa.

This remarkable achievement solidifies Shah Rukh Khan’s enduring popularity and the film’s appeal to audiences both in India and abroad.
