The 52nd UAE National Day ushers in a weekend brimming with celebrations and shows, offering the perfect chance for families and friends to enjoy a day out together. 

Across the country, flags will wave proudly while the skies light up in vibrant UAE colors, with dazzling fireworks illuminating the evenings.

Abu Dhabi’s Sparkling Displays:

  • Yas Island:
  • Yas Bay Waterfront: December 2, 9pm
  • Visitors to Yas Island will be treated to daytime star-studded performances and a breathtaking nighttime fireworks show at 9pm along the waterfront’s promenade.
  • Al Maryah Island – The Promenade: December 2-3, 9pm
  • The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s Promenade will host a magnificent firework display and water show, celebrating the spirit of the Union at 9pm on December 2 and 3.
  • Sheikh Zayed Festival, Al Wathba: December 2-3 (4pm to 1am)
  • Abu Dhabi’s landmark heritage festival offers live performances, children’s shows, and various activities, culminating in captivating fireworks and drones illuminating the grounds.
  • Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental: December 2, 9pm
  • Abu Dhabi’s iconic five-star hotel will present a grand pyrotechnics and light show at 9pm on December 2, visible to guests and the public.

Dubai’s Vibrant Spectacles

  • Global Village – Fireworks Avenue: December 1-2, 9pm
  • The popular festival park will host cultural performances and themed activities from December 1 to 3, featuring its beloved fireworks shows every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.
  • Other Landmarks:
  • From Bluewaters to Dubai Festival City, Al Seef, and The Beach on JBR, various iconic places in Dubai are expected to celebrate with fireworks. However, specific plans for this year are yet to be announced.

Sharjah’s Extended Celebrations

  • Sharjah National Park: November 28 – December 3
    • The emirate’s festivities commenced in November, continuing until December 3 with events at Sharjah National Park. 
  • The schedule includes theatrical shows, workshops, interactive competitions, and more. Multiple regions like Al Dhaid, Khor Fakkan, and Kalba are participating in the fireworks and cultural events celebrations.
