As a child, Somy Madani didn’t have the internet to explore the world. Instead, she turned to the television, which became her secret portal to a bigger, brighter universe beyond her small home. With no social media to scroll through and only a few ways to see what was out there, Somy’s hunger to do more and see more grew fierce.
That curiosity and drive didn’t stay confined to the screen. Somy began transforming her brother’s clothes into her own creative projects, stitching, cutting, and shaping them into something entirely new. She joined every art club she could find at school, using her hands and imagination to make her small world feel larger and louder.
Today, Somy Madani is a name that stands for much more than fashion. Her mission is deeply rooted in nurturing people’s well-being through design. “I believe true luxury isn’t just about how something looks,” she explains. “It’s about how it makes you feel and what it stands for.”

For Somy, fashion is like a quiet daily ritual, a form of self-care that goes beyond the surface. She focuses on creating designs that help people feel confident, grounded, and cared for from the inside out. That’s why she chooses ethical practices and sustainable materials. It’s all part of her vision to create fashion that respects both people and the planet.
The Journey to Self-Discovery
While many might look at her success and think she has “made it,” Somy herself disagrees. “Honestly, I don’t feel like I’ve arrived yet,” she shares. “The dream I have in my head is so big and so clear, and I know I won’t feel done until I get there.”
If she had to pick her proudest achievement, it wouldn’t be an award or a big show. It would be her own personal growth the clarity she has gained about who she is, what she wants, and what she stands for. “When you really know yourself, everything gets simpler and lighter,” she says. “That’s worth more to me than any trophy.”
A Lockdown Pivot That Changed Everything
Somy’s journey took an unexpected turn during the global lockdown. While she was finishing her master’s in fashion and business management, she suddenly found herself with a lot of free time and she hates wasting time. So she launched her brand online, began posting her designs, and started building a community.
The moment the lockdown ended, Somy was invited to London Fashion Week. It was the beginning of a rapid rise. But the path wasn’t always easy. One of the biggest challenges she faced was the lack of real mentorship. “You learn theory at university, but in the real world, you need guidance through the unspoken rules,” she recalls.
That struggle inspired her to start her own Somy Talent Academy, a platform to help young designers get the mentorship she wished she had. Through it, she supports emerging talent, helping them find their own voices in the competitive world of fashion.
Beyond Clothing: A Collection for the Soul
Currently, Somy Madani is working on a new collection that goes beyond just clothes. It is about connection, well-being, and adding real value to daily life. She’s using ethically sourced fabrics designed to support and even elevate your electromagnetic field. Yes, she’s weaving science into fashion.
“This collection is not just about looking good,” Somy says. “It’s about feeling good and living well. It’s the beginning of something revolutionary, and trust me this is only the start.”
Lessons From a Fearless Creative

Somy Madani considers herself lucky to work in an industry that forces her to evolve constantly. She believes that most limitations are illusions. “There is nothing we can’t turn into art,” she insists. “We can draw inspiration from politics, wellness, film, sports, anything. That mindset keeps me flexible and fearless.”
She dreams of being remembered as one of the first designers who didn’t just make beautiful clothes but changed the entire game. She wants to make sustainability and well-being the true heart of fashion. Her goal? To be a “quiet revolutionary” who shakes the industry awake and inspires others to think differently.
“Fashion should add value to people’s lives and to the planet,” Somy shares. “I want my work to make people feel good on the inside and out, and to make them feel connected to something bigger than themselves.”
Advice to Her Younger Self
When asked what advice she would give to her younger self, Somy Madani smiles and says she would tell her to stop doubting and trust her inner voice. “As an artist, your inner compass knows the way. It knows how to turn your vision into art that speaks to people,” she reflects. “Listen to that inner voice first, before the noise of the world. It’s wiser than you think.”
Somy’s story is a powerful reminder that dreams are not linear and that success is not just about external achievements. It’s about the growth that happens along the way, the clarity you gain about who you really are, and the courage to turn your passion into something that helps others.
Her life is a blend of bold creativity, thoughtful design, and a commitment to making fashion a force for good. With each new project, she proves that style can be more than just visual it can be emotional, ethical, and healing.
As Somy continues to build her brand and her movement, one thing is clear: she is not just designing clothes. She’s designing a future where fashion empowers, heals, and unites. Her journey is far from over, and if her passion and vision are any indication, the best is yet to come.
