In a diplomatic meeting held on Thursday, President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates welcomed Gina Raimondo, the United States Secretary of Commerce, to Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Expanding Opportunities

The two leaders engaged in discussions regarding the current state of bilateral relations between the UAE and the United States. 

The meeting also focused on exploring opportunities for enhancing cooperation across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on the fields of economy, investment, and commerce.

The meeting was attended by several key figures, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, National Security Adviser and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi’s Executive Affairs Authority; Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE ambassador to the United States; and members of the US delegation accompanying the Commerce Secretary.
