The speed limit on Al Ittihad Road has been reduced from 100km/h to 80km/h by the RTA and Dubai Police, starting November 20.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police have collectively revised the speed limit on Al Ittihad Road from 100km/h to 80km/h, effective November 20. Motorists are urged to adhere to the new limit to avoid potential fines of up to Dh3,000.

While some, like Najwa Jabri, encountered the updated speed limit unexpectedly, others, such as Hassan Shaukat, were vigilant and noted the change in advance, consciously adjusting their driving habits.

Impact on Daily Commute:

Adjusting to Traffic Dynamics:

Hassan Shaukat, a Pakistani resident for over two decades, remains attentive to speed limits, especially during delivery runs between the two emirates.

Siddharth Somaiya, adapting to the altered traffic landscape, has foregone cruise control due to intensified road congestion.
