In 2020, one of the world’s greatest keyboard players, Derek Sherinian, featured in Shant Bajac’s version of the traditional Armenian song Dle Yaman, after being impressed by a video of Shant performing it on slide guitar.
During the same period, Shant launched an initiative on social media called “Music in a Minute,” encouraging people to pick up an instrument during the global lockdown through one-minute guitar lessons. The series featured renowned guitar virtuosos such as Matteo Mancuso, Jack Gardiner, and Christophe Godin, among others.
His work on social media has gained significant attention, especially on platforms like TikTok, where he shares guitar covers and original solos. This has helped him reach younger audiences and inspire many to explore the guitar.
