Forecasted Rainfall in Abu Dhabi

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) anticipates rainfall in Abu Dhabi on Friday, following showers that graced parts of Dubai on Thursday, accompanied by the formation of dark clouds.

Regional Rainfall and Weather Warnings

Adverse weather conditions were experienced in various regions, including Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah, and Fujairah, where moderate rain was reported. 

The NCM issued a warning via X (formerly Twitter) about the possibility of convective cloud formation in coastal and northern areas, indicating potential rainfall, fresh winds up to 40km/hr, blowing dust, and rough sea conditions.

Weather Outlook for the Weekend

By Saturday and Sunday, the wet weather is expected to diminish, with projected highs of 27°C in Dubai and 26°C in Abu Dhabi. Clearer conditions are forecasted to continue into Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures reaching 28°C in Dubai and 27°C in Abu Dhabi.

Varied Weather Patterns

The UAE’s weather in the initial days of the month has been diverse, with morning fog giving way to bright sunshine post heavy rains in November. As the winter season progresses from December to March, temperatures typically decline in the region.
