President Sheikh Mohamed and UAE Leaders Call for Global Peace at Iftar Reception

In a significant gathering symbolizing unity and solidarity, President Sheikh Mohamed and other UAE leaders convened for an iftar reception at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The event, held on Wednesday, was marked by prayers for global peace and prosperity, reflecting the spirit of Ramadan.

Ramadan, a sacred month observed by close to two billion Muslims worldwide, began in the UAE on Monday. As part of the tradition, President Sheikh Mohamed and the Rulers of the Emirates exchanged warm greetings and prayers, emphasizing the importance of security, stability, and welfare for the nation and its people.

The esteemed gathering included Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman. Additionally, prominent sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials were present to partake in the evening’s proceedings.

Expressing gratitude for hosting his fellow Emirates leaders, President Sheikh Mohamed took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to reflect on the significance of the gathering.
