The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) approved the passing of a 58-year-old male and a six-year-old boy from Gaza, both receiving urgent medical treatment upon arrival in the UAE.
The elderly patient succumbed to cardiac arrest due to advanced cancer and critical health complications, while the young boy battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia before his demise on December 6.
Medical Efforts and Condolences:
Despite exhaustive efforts by the medical team, the 58-year-old’s condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his cardiac arrest, as stated by MoHAP.
The ministry extended heartfelt consolations to the families of the deceased, offering prayers for strength during this challenging time.
Specialized Care and Humanitarian Initiative:
Upon arrival in the UAE, both patients were swiftly transferred to specialized healthcare facilities for immediate treatment.
Their identities were not disclosed. They were among numerous injured and cancer patients evacuated from Gaza to the UAE for urgent medical attention under a humanitarian initiative directed by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
