The 38-year-old Kuwaiti native, paralyzed from the waist down since a car accident in 2005, has defied the odds once again, showcasing his indomitable spirit and inspiring countless individuals worldwide.
Born and raised in Kuwait, Al Mosawi’s life took a dramatic turn in 2005 when a tragic car accident left him paralyzed in the lower half of his body. Having already shattered records in 2018 and 2022, Al Mosawi set his sights on achieving a third world record in Dubai. On Monday, he made history once again by completing the fastest dive using an underwater wheelchair, covering a distance of 400 meters in just 37 minutes at the Dubai Aquarium.
