Pakistan U-19 Secure Victory Against India in ACC U-19 Asia Cup

Pakistan U-19 defeated India U-19 by an eight-wicket margin in the sixth match of the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup in Dubai.

Azan Awais’s unbeaten century and Mohammad Zeeshan’s four-wicket haul played pivotal roles in Pakistan’s commanding eight-wicket victory over the India U-19 team in the fifth match of the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup in Dubai on Sunday.

Azan Awais’s Breathtaking Display:

Azan Awais’s breathtaking performance with the bat proved to be the deciding factor during the chase of India’s target of 260. His unbeaten ton and solid partnership with Shahzaib Khan took the game away from the Indian bowling unit.

The 110-run stand between Azan and Shahzaib Khan showcased a dominant batting display, demoralizing the Indian bowlers and steering Pakistan towards a convincing victory.

The left-hand combination adeptly navigated the chase, keeping the scoreboard ticking with well-timed boundaries.

India’s Batting Efforts:

Despite valiant efforts from India’s skipper Uday Saharan (60), opener Adarsh Singh (62), and Sachin Dhas (58), the Indian team posted a total of 259/9 after being put to bat first.

Mohammad Zeeshan’s four-wicket haul, supported by Amir Hassan and Ubaid Shah, restricted India’s innings.

Pakistan’s Clinical Bowling Display:

Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Mohammad Zeeshan, showcased a clinical display, picking up crucial wickets to limit India’s scoring opportunities.

The bowlers pressed for a collapse, and while Murugan Abhishek managed two wickets for India, the rest of the bowling unit faced resistance from the Pakistani batsmen.

Azan Awais’s match-winning 128-run partnership with skipper Saad Baig ensured Pakistan’s successful chase, securing victory for the team.

Other Match Results:

In another match, Afghanistan (261 all out) defeated Nepal (188 all out) by 73 runs, adding further excitement to the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Dubai.
