Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of the airline, is taking the lead in this project. The goal is to offer door-to-door delivery across big cities and trade hubs around the world. Nabil Sultan, the divisional senior vice president at Emirates SkyCargo, said this new service is a natural step for the airline. He mentioned that over the past few years, more and more customers have been asking for faster and more flexible delivery options. Especially after the rise of e-commerce, people want their packages to arrive quickly no matter where they live.

By using its large fleet of planes and its strong international network, Emirates plans to make deliveries between continents faster and more reliable.

Which Countries Are Involved?

Sultan said that the long-term goal is to offer end-to-end logistics solutions, which means taking care of a package from the time it’s picked up until the time it’s delivered.

Focus on E-commerce and Small Parcels

The courier service will mainly target small businesses and individuals who are looking for fast international shipping. It will especially benefit online sellers and e-commerce platforms that need to move goods quickly across borders.

The rise of online shopping has led to a growing need for services that can offer next-day or two-day delivery. Emirates wants to take advantage of this by offering reliable, quick, and easy shipping options to customers.
