Watching her parents perform on grand stages and organize musical events ignited a spark within her. “I felt inspired and small at the same time while roaming around empty halls and stages when people finally left after the concerts,” she reminisces.
Her formal music education began early, and she quickly became proficient in multiple instruments, including the violin, flute, saxophone, and viola. By the age of 16, she joined a sympho-rock orchestra, marking her first significant step into the music industry.
Breaking Free and Finding Her Voice
Despite her early successes, MaryAnn faced challenges that tested her passion for music. After graduating from music school, she felt constrained by the rigid structures of classical training. “It felt like my soul was taken away from me,” she admits. This led her to take a break from music, contemplating a different path.
However, fate had other plans. An online post about an audition for a sympho-rock orchestra reignited her passion. The opportunity to play something different and unique, surrounded by like-minded individuals, was the catalyst she needed. “This is how I made my very first serious steps into the music industry,” she says.
A Leap of Faith: Moving to Dubai
One of MaryAnn’s most significant and daring decisions was moving to Dubai without any preparations. Leaving her hometown at a young age was challenging, but the allure of new opportunities was irresistible. “I packed my life for 10 days and started a new one on New Year’s Eve of 2018,” she shares. This bold move opened doors she never imagined, allowing her to perform on international stages and collaborate with artists from diverse backgrounds.
Embracing Challenges and Seizing Opportunities
MaryAnn’s journey is marked by moments where she embraced challenges head-on. From freestyling in front of a thousand people to learning 20 pieces of Linkin Park music in just nine hours, she consistently pushed her boundaries. “These were the exact moments when my career made a huge step up,” she reflects.
Her adaptability and willingness to take risks have been instrumental in her growth. Even working for an advertising company provided her with the tools to film and record her music covers, showcasing her resourcefulness.
Innovating with Electric Violin and Modern Sounds
MaryAnn’s versatility shines through her innovative approach to music. She seamlessly blends classical violin with modern genres like EDM, Afro House, and Deep House. Collaborations like “Sonido De La Tierra” with DiPap and “Mermaids” with Dreamers Inc. highlight her ability to infuse traditional instruments with contemporary sounds.

Current Endeavors and Future Aspirations
Currently, MaryAnn is working on releasing her first original track that combines her lyrics and voice with violin and Melodic House sound. “This is something I was really scared to do for a long time, but finally I feel that I’m ready to bring my career to a new level and share my own story,” she reveals.
Her recent releases, including “Fortnight,” “Goo Goo Muck,” “Jericho,” and “Espresso,” showcase her evolving style and commitment to pushing musical boundaries.
