One of Marwan’s significant professional achievements was his involvement in securing the Riyadh Metro project. From 2008 to 2013, he dedicated himself to the project’s early stages, demonstrating unwavering perseverance that culminated in the project’s signing in 2013. The Riyadh Metro, inaugurated in November 2024, stands as Saudi Arabia’s first underground railway, initially serving 1.2 million passengers daily, with plans to accommodate up to 3.6 million. This transformative project not only alleviates traffic congestion but also enhances air quality in Riyadh.
