A Journey Rooted in Passion, Culture, and Storytelling
Born in Tehran in 1984, Mahnaz Karimi’s journey into the world of art began during her adolescence and evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creativity. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Graphics from Alzahra University, she gained not only technical mastery but also the foundation to explore bold new frontiers in art and design. Today, she is not a painter in the traditional sense. Rather, she is a creator of sculptural wall pieces and immersive ceiling installations—a visionary blending fine art with spatial design.
Karimi’s artistic expression transcends the canvas, transforming spaces through carefully crafted, hand-made resin works that engage both the mind and the senses. Her installations serve as storytelling-driven decorative art, infused with history, emotion, and cultural identity.

Resin Art as Sculpture: A Unique Artistic Language
At the core of Karimi’s work lies her signature resin pouring technique, meticulously combined with a detailed mold-making process. Each piece is made from scratch, by hand, designed to evoke specific emotions and experiences. The unpredictable nature of resin, when paired with her sculptural process, allows her to create organic textures and dynamic forms that connect deeply with themes of nature, identity, and the passage of time.

Her pieces are not mere objects—they are conceptual narratives, inviting viewers into immersive environments where art and interior space converge.

Frozen Territories – The Arctic Private Project
Conceived in the heart of Dubai, Frozen Territories is a bold conceptual piece designed to replicate the untouched essence of natural Arctic ice. From mold design to final installation, every element was handcrafted to maintain the illusion of frost that never melts—even in the desert heat—challenging perceptions of environment and permanence.

ADIHEX Abu Dhabi – Falcon of Unity
This sculptural wall piece, made with seven intricate layers of wood and resin, symbolizes the unbreakable unity of the seven Emirates. Each individual layer represents a delicate strength, and their fusion forms a cohesive, powerful whole. Falcon of Unity received heartfelt appreciation for its powerful symbolism and craftsmanship at ADIHEX.
