Rabat, Morocco – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is strengthening its longstanding partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco by expanding defense capabilities and deepening local industrial collaboration. Guided by Morocco’s Law No. 10-20, which aims to create a robust national defense industrial base, this initiative reflects Lockheed Martin’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s vision for innovation, self-reliance, and advanced defense readiness.
A recent visit organized by the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) featured a senior Lockheed Martin delegation, led by Joseph Rank, Chief Executive for Lockheed Martin in Africa and Saudi Arabia. The team met with key industrial companies in Casablanca, including:
- TDM Maroc
- SABCA Maroc
- Collins Aerospace RFM
- Exxelia Maroc
These visits align with Martin’s global strategy to integrate more Moroccan suppliers into its international supply chain, boost local content in its platforms, and enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities.

The delegation also engaged in high-level discussions with senior Moroccan government and military officials in Rabat. Topics included identifying new areas for capability building, promoting workforce development, and supporting Morocco’s ambitions to build a self-sustaining defense industry.
“Our enduring relationship with Morocco reflects a shared commitment to innovation, security, and economic progress,” said Joseph Rank. “As we continue to deepen our collaboration, we aim to advance Morocco’s defense capabilities, expand local expertise, and contribute to long-term industrial and economic growth.”
