Laury Haddad grew up in France, surrounded by her older siblings and the music they loved. Their home was always filled with melodies, and it wasn’t long before she joined in. Even at just three years old, she was performing for her family, full of energy, passion, and the quiet certainty that singing was her destiny.
“I would sing and perform for them at home, and even at three years old, I knew deep down that I wanted to be a singer when I grew up. That innocent dream never left me, it only grew stronger with time.”
For Laury, music was never a hobby. It was a language, the purest way she knew how to express herself. But her journey toward a music career wasn’t straightforward.

Choosing Passion Over a Safe Path
After finishing school, Laury took a practical route and began studying sciences. At first, it seemed like the right choice, a safe and steady path. But deep inside, she felt restless. The silence of the lab could not compete with the rhythm that had always filled her heart.
“Music was always part of me, but during my first year studying sciences, I realized I didn’t want a life in a lab. I left everything behind and moved to Lebanon to study cinema and music, that’s where I truly belonged.”

It was a courageous decision, leaving behind a stable academic path for the uncertainty of an artistic one. But for Laury, following her passion was non-negotiable. She packed her dreams and flew to Lebanon, determined to chase the life that had always called her.
The Early Struggles of a New Beginning
Moving to Lebanon at 18 wasn’t easy. The competition was fierce, and recognition was hard to earn. In a new country, with new faces and unfamiliar networks, Laury faced the challenge of building everything from scratch.
“The biggest challenge at first was gaining recognition, but I was quickly spotted, which gave me the motivation and confidence to keep growing as an artist.”
Her breakthrough didn’t happen overnight, but her voice, emotional, powerful, and honest, quickly began to draw attention. Each small victory reminded her that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
Going Independent A Leap of Faith
One of Laury Haddad’s proudest moments came in 2017 when she released her own music independently without any label support. It was a massive risk. She had to handle everything on her own, from recording and production to marketing and promotion. But the experience became one of her biggest teachers.
“My biggest achievement was releasing my own music independently in 2017, without the support of a label. It was a huge challenge, but it taught me resilience and reminded me that true passion always finds its way.”
This independence became her identity. She didn’t want to be shaped by the industry’s demands; she wanted to stay true to her artistic essence. Her songs became reflections of who she was, emotional, cinematic, and real.
A Blend of Cultures and Languages
Laury’s background is beautifully diverse. Born in France with deep Lebanese roots, she naturally grew up surrounded by multiple languages, sounds, and influences. That diversity is now the heart of her music.
“I’m currently working on songs that blend different languages and influences, reflecting my multicultural roots and aligning with my goal to share my voice with a wider audience and create music that travels beyond borders.”
In her music, you can hear her story, a mix of French softness, Arabic warmth, and international rhythms. She believes that music has no borders, and through her songs, she hopes to connect people who might never have met otherwise.
Strength Through Perseverance
Every artist faces doubt, from within and from others. Laury remembers the early days when people told her she wouldn’t make it, that the industry was too tough, that her dream was unrealistic. Instead of letting those words break her, she used them as motivation.
“I’ve learned that perseverance is my greatest strength. Early on, people told me, you’ll never make it or this industry is too hard. Instead of listening, I turned their words into motivation. Believing in myself became my fuel, and it still drives me every day.”
That belief became her armor. She learned that success in music isn’t about how fast you rise, but how deeply you believe in your craft. Her story is a lesson in patience, grit, and the power of self-belief.
Staying True to Her Artistic Vision
Laury takes her time with each project. She isn’t interested in rushing new releases just to stay visible. Every song she writes and records must carry emotion and truth. For her, authenticity is everything.
She wants her music to move people, to make them feel something. That’s why she works closely on every detail, from lyrics and composition to visuals and storytelling. Her songs reflect real experiences, love, struggle, hope, and discovery.
“As an independent artist, I’m aware that I’m taking my time to release new music, but it’s because I want every project to feel authentic and meaningful.”
Connecting With Her Audience
Laury’s connection with her fans is genuine. She often shares behind-the-scenes moments, personal reflections, and sneak peeks of new songs on her social media. On TikTok and Instagram, she shows not only her polished performances but also her real, unfiltered self, the girl who still sings for the love of it.
Her fans admire her openness and sincerity. They see in her a reflection of their own dreams, a reminder that with courage, anything is possible.
A Message to Her Younger Self
Laury often looks back at that little girl in France, standing in front of her family, singing her heart out. If she could speak to her now, she’d tell her something beautiful:
“I would tell the little me, never be afraid. You carry a beautiful voice and an even more beautiful soul. Believe in your light, because it will guide you where you’re meant to be. Reach for the moon, and if you can’t, let the stars catch you.”
Those words capture everything Laury stands for, courage, light, and hope.
Leaving a Legacy Beyond Music
Laury Haddad isn’t just building a career; she’s building a legacy. She hopes to be remembered as an artist who never compromised her authenticity, who sang from the heart, and who used her music to bring people together.
“I hope to leave a mark as an artist who stayed true to her voice, honest, emotional, and fearless. I want to be remembered for creating music that connects people beyond borders and languages, and for inspiring others to follow their dreams no matter how hard the road gets.”
Her story is proof that passion can overcome fear, that faith can silence doubt, and that the dream you carry as a child can still lead you home.
As Laury continues to write, sing, and perform, one thing is certain, her voice will keep traveling beyond borders, lighting hearts wherever it’s heard.
