When Kenzy Madbouly looks back at her childhood, she remembers the weekends that shaped her dreams. Every weekend, her parents took her to the cinema, and those moments became her favorite escape. She says, “I fell in love with cinema; it became my home.” Her mother also nurtured her imagination by buying her mystery and adventure books, and soon, Kenzy found herself lost in stories that made her dream of writing her own one day.
From a young age, Kenzy knew that stories had power, the power to heal, inspire, and make a difference. She decided she wanted to be both a movie maker and a writer, someone who could use creativity to bring awareness to serious topics. “I wanted to make a difference in this world,” she says. “I believed that movies can do this if used in the right way.”
Finding Her Voice Online
Kenzy Madbouly’s journey as a content creator began unexpectedly in 2021. “It all started when we were all stuck at home,” she laughs. “I was obsessed with Turkish TV shows, so I joined a fan group and started making comedy videos about them.”
The videos quickly became popular because of her humor and relatable storytelling. Encouraged by the response, she began creating sketches about family life, relationships, and everyday situations. “People loved them, so I kept making more,” she says. “And since then, I never stopped, Elhamdulillah.”
But comedy was only one side of her content. Kenzy Madbouly began using her platform to talk about deeper topics like mental health, depression, and domestic violence. Her courage to discuss such subjects made her stand out. “When I got the chance from God to make a difference through my videos, it felt perfect, even better than movies,” she says. “Because I could speak freely about serious issues, and my voice could reach people everywhere.”
Her followers connected deeply with her authenticity. Many sent her messages saying her videos inspired them to seek therapy or take better care of their mental health. “Every person who tells me they went to therapy after watching my video is my biggest achievement,” she says proudly. “I wanted to make a difference, and now I do.”
From Storytelling Online to the World of Books
Writing had always been part of Kenzy Madbouly’s identity, and she eventually turned that passion into something tangible. In January 2024, she published her first novel, A Chance from Dahab. The book became a success, marking her transition from online creator to published author.
But success came with challenges. “With more success came more hate,” she admits. “People accused me of paying someone to write my novel. Others spread false information online, pretending I copied from other books. And the sad part was that people believed it.”
Instead of letting the negativity destroy her confidence, Kenzy decided to prove herself through her work. “I didn’t respond to hate with words,” she says. “I responded with another book.”
A year later, in January 2025, she released her second novel, The 8th Victim. This time, her storytelling silenced critics. Readers praised her writing, and people began to see her as a serious author. “Since then, most people respect me as a writer,” she says with a smile. “Reader reviews for both novels were amazing.”
Kenzy Madbouly continues to improve her writing, and she dreams of turning her novels into films someday. “I want to go into scriptwriting,” she shares. “That’s how I’ll start chasing my childhood dream of becoming a filmmaker.”
Overcoming Hate and Choosing Peace
Behind the success, Kenzy Madbouly also faced emotional struggles that came with fame. The constant online criticism affected her mental health deeply. “My life was hell when I used to read hate comments,” she says. “I would respond to them, hoping to defend myself, but that only made things worse.”
Some people even admitted they insulted her just to get her attention. “They would tell me, ‘I just wanted you to reply,’” she recalls. “I let it affect me so much that one day I ended up in the emergency room from a panic attack.”
That experience became a turning point. Kenzy decided to stop reading the negative comments and focus instead on the positive ones, the thousands of people who supported her every week. “One day I woke up and thought, who are they to make me cry?” she says. “Now I only read the good messages, and my life is much better.”
This decision helped her regain peace and balance. It also became another lesson she shares with her followers, the importance of protecting your mental health and not letting hate define your worth. “Since I stopped caring about the haters, I became more successful and happier,” she says. “Elhamdulillah.”

A Creator with a Purpose
For Kenzy Madbouly, being a content creator isn’t about fame, it’s about impact. She uses her voice to help others feel less alone, especially those struggling with mental health or self-doubt.
“I want to be there for the young Kenzy who was lying in bed crying and needed someone to tell her everything would be okay,” she says. Her videos and books reflect that empathy. Whether she’s making people laugh with a comedy skit or comforting them with a heartfelt message, Kenzy’s purpose remains the same, to help others love and accept themselves.
“Books were my only friends at one point in my life,” she says. “So when people tell me that my novels kept them company during their dark times, it means the world to me.”
Looking Toward the Future
Kenzy Madbouly’s vision is clear. She wants to continue writing stories that matter and eventually bring them to life on screen. Her dream is to create films that combine entertainment with awareness, stories that make people think and feel.
“I want to bring awareness to serious topics through my films,” she says. “That’s how I’ll combine my passion for storytelling with my mission to make a difference.”
She also wants to continue connecting with her followers, offering both laughter and hope. Her story shows that success isn’t just about fame or numbers, it’s about using your platform to inspire others and spread light.
No Regrets, Only Growth
When asked if she would change anything about her journey, Kenzy Madbouly’s answer is simple. “I wouldn’t change a thing,” she says. “Every step, the bad and the good, shaped me into who I am today.”
Her journey from a little girl who loved the cinema to a content creator, writer, and mental health advocate is proof that dreams can evolve and grow in unexpected ways.
Kenzy Madbouly has become a symbol of resilience, creativity, and faith. Through her stories, whether told in videos, books, or one day on the big screen, she continues to inspire millions to believe in themselves, heal from their pain, and never stop chasing their dreams.
