Jordan's King Abdullah II Commences UAE Visit

Jordan’s King Abdullah II embarked on a visit to the UAE on Thursday, signifying the continued strengthening of bilateral relations between the two nations. His arrival at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi was warmly greeted by President Sheikh Mohamed, further emphasizing the close ties shared between Jordan and the UAE.

The welcoming committee, led by President Sheikh Mohamed, included prominent figures such as Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. As a gesture of respect and honour, King Abdullah received a military guard of honour upon his arrival.

Accompanying the Jordanian monarch is Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh, highlighting the significance of this visit in fostering political and diplomatic dialogue between the two countries.

This visit underscores the ongoing efforts to reinforce the enduring friendship and collaboration between Jordan and the UAE. King Abdullah’s frequent visits to the UAE serve as a testament to the robust and multifaceted relationship shared by both nations.

Notably, President Sheikh Mohamed’s recent state visit to Jordan further solidified the bilateral partnership.
