For Jitin, the concept of being “at the top of your game” only to start all over again isn’t just theoretical. He has lived it, more than once.
“You leave school at the top, then you’re a freshman again in college. You become a senior, and then a rookie again in the workforce. Later, if you switch careers or industries, it happens all over again,” he reflects.
It’s this cycle that taught him humility, adaptability, and the value of lifelong learning. Instead of resisting change, Jitin embraced it, making every restart an opportunity rather than a setback.

A Leap From Licensing to Skincare
When Jitin shifted from licensing, where he had over a decade of experience, to professional skincare, it was a bold move. But it wasn’t a blind one.
“The skincare industry is growing at an exponential rate,” he explains. “Consumers today care more about what goes into their products and how it affects their skin. That makes it an exciting space to be in.”
He also found comfort in the similarities between licensing and skincare. Both industries deeply value relationships and the stories behind a brand. Circadia’s story, rooted in science and the legacy of its founder, Dr. Peter Pugliese, aligned well with Jitin’s values and experience.
Taking Circadia Global: Africa, Middle East, and Asia in Focus
As Managing Director for Circadia SAMENA, Jitin oversees the brand’s expansion and operations across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Within these regions, Circadia has already established a presence in countries including Bahrain, Oman, Maldives, Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
This expansion isn’t just about selling products. It’s about building networks, empowering solo estheticians, and understanding the nuances of each local market. Within the UAE, Circadia is building a support structure for independent skincare professionals to help them thrive, aligning with the company’s broader mission: empowering 100,000 estheticians to build six figure businesses in the next three years.
Recognized on the Global Stage
In what he considers his proudest achievement to date, Jitin was recently recognized at a global Circadia distributor event. The SAMENA team’s efforts in spreading the brand across countries, many of which he hadn’t even visited before taking on the role, were formally celebrated.
“That moment meant a lot,” he shares. “There’s so much trust placed in you, especially when you’re not even sure how to enter 50 plus markets. To see those decisions pay off, it was a great signal that we’re moving in the right direction.”
Learning Through Hustle: Lessons From the Licensing World
Jitin’s foundation in business comes from his family’s licensing company, which he joined in its infancy. “It was just three of us, my brother, father, and me,” he says.
Breaking into licensing wasn’t easy. The industry demands a solid body of work before granting access to top tier intellectual properties. But to build that portfolio, you already need those rights. “It was a classic Catch 22,” he recalls.
So they did what all entrepreneurs do. They started small, worked relentlessly, and built up their reputation piece by piece. That same grit and patience now fuel his current ventures.
The Best Advice He Ever Got
One of the most impactful lessons Jitin picked up came early in his career: “Don’t fall in love with your inventory.”
While it sounds like a practical tip for retail, it’s also a metaphor for business and life. “You shouldn’t be so attached to one way of doing things that you ignore better alternatives,” he says. “Be willing to unlearn and relearn, because nothing stays constant forever.”

Despite the rapid growth and recognition, Jitin remains grounded in his philosophy: success is not a solo act.
When asked how he would like to be remembered, he avoids the usual tropes of fame or fortune. “I want to be judged by the growth and success of my team and my partners,” he says. “If they are in a better place because they worked with me, that’s my legacy.”
