Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, presently detained and facing various charges, has been replaced as the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party he founded. 

Party officials confirmed that Gohar Khan, a barrister unrelated to Imran Khan, has assumed the role of party chairman.
