What is the Bus On-Demand Service?

Introduced in 2020, the Bus On-Demand service operates mini buses that can be summoned via a mobile app. This service enables commuters to communicate with drivers to identify the nearest pick-up and drop-off points within the covered areas. Particularly beneficial for those without nearby bus stops, the service ensures seamless connectivity within designated zones.

How to Utilize the Service:

Step 1: Download the App

  • Download the ‘Dubai Bus On Demand’ app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Enter Personal Details

  • Provide necessary information such as name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Verify your identity using the one-time password (OTP) sent by RTA.

Step 3: Payment Setup

  • Choose a payment method, either credit card or nol card.

Step 4: Select Route

  • The app allows users to select available service areas.
  • Choose your current location and desired drop-off point.

Step 5: Confirm Ride

  • Review estimated arrival time, ride duration, and fare.
  • Confirm location and receive directions to the nearest pick-up spot.

Cost of the Trip:

  • Dh5 for single rides within the zone.
  • Dh7 for single rides between zones.
  • Dh4 for each additional passenger.
