The latest edition of Global Village, a renowned entertainment destination, opened its gates to the public with an astonishing new feature—an hourly fire and laser show performed on the world’s largest underwater LED screen at Dragon Lake.
This captivating attraction promises to be a major highlight for visitors.
Grand Opening Celebration:

As the clock ticked towards 6 p.m., the staff at Global Village marked the occasion with a grand celebration.
Strings of confetti, music, and special dance performances welcomed hundreds of eager guests at the gates since 5 p.m.
Dubai Police officers joined the festivities by handing out roses to some of the first visitors.
For visitors like 55-year-old Karina from Tajikistan, this experience was truly unforgettable.
She expressed her excitement about visiting Global Village before her return home and described her happiness in sharing this experience with her family.
Extended Season and New Attractions:
Global Village has started its activities a week earlier than usual, with many new attractions and experiences. The season will run until April 28, 2024.
Notable attractions this year include the iconic Dallah at the Gate of the World, which will feature 3D projection shows.
Visitors can also enjoy over 195 rides and games at Carnaval and explore 10 new exhibits at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, along with the region’s largest House of Fear.
Introducing Mini World:
This year, Global Village introduces Mini World, a new destination celebrating cultures worldwide through miniature landmarks, street food offerings, game and adventure zones, and a mini golf zone.
With an impressive schedule of 40,000 shows, Global Village offers a diverse range of entertainment, including beloved characters, concerts, street performances, and the all-new Cyber City Stunt Show – Powered by Surge.
International acts like AAINJAA, Fusion Japan, and DholFoundation will grace the Main Stage, while the Kids’ Theatre will host favorites like Peter Rabbit and PJ Masks.
Improved Facilities:
Global Village has made significant improvements to its facilities.
The VIP parking zone has been relocated to the Cultural Gate, and entrances and exits have been expanded to accommodate more cars, ensuring a smoother journey to and from the destination.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced an additional bus route, Route 107, from Al Nahda Bus Station, complementing the existing four routes from various locations.
Ticket prices have been adjusted this year, with regular Any Day tickets costing Dh30 at the gate, granting entry on any day, including public holidays.
Value tickets, which provide access from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), cost Dh25 at the gate.
A 10% discount is offered for tickets purchased via the mobile app or website, with Any Day tickets available for Dh27 and Value tickets for Dh22.50.
Cultural Exploration and Extended Hours:
Visitors can explore more than 90 cultures through 27 pavilions, 3,500 shopping outlets, and various dining options.
Global Village operates from Sunday to Wednesday from 4 p.m. to midnight and extends its hours to 1 a.m. from Thursday to Sunday.
Tuesdays are designated exclusively for ladies and families, except on public holidays.
Last year, Global Village welcomed a record-breaking 9 million guests, and even more visitors are expected this year.
