Nasser’s journey into the professional world took a defining turn when he interned at du, a leading telecommunications company in the UAE. It was here that he got his first real taste of what project management and human resources looked like in action.
This internship wasn’t just a checkbox for my CV, Nasser shares. It made me realize that this project management and HR is my true passion.
The hands-on experience taught him how organizations function from the inside. Working with professionals, handling real responsibilities, and seeing the impact of strategic planning in real time lit a spark in him.

After his internship, Nasser’s curiosity and drive pushed him toward consulting a field that perfectly fits his love for problem-solving, working with people, and making a difference.
Consulting is fun, he says with a smile. You get to learn fast, adapt fast, and grow even faster. I love that I get to interact with different entities and industries. It keeps things exciting and always evolving.
Consulting helped him develop critical thinking, people skills, and business understanding skills he now uses daily in his role at KPMG.
Balancing Work and Education: A Semester of Hustle
Nasser’s real turning point came during his final semester at university. While most students were focused on just finishing strong, Nasser was already stepping into the corporate world. He had started working at KPMG.
Balancing both was extremely tough, he admits. There were sleepless nights and a lot of pressure. But it was worth it.

I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be, he shares. My role allows me to blend consulting with purpose. I get to help organizations evolve while also supporting the growth of people, especially the youth.
