From Boardroom to Backdrops: Enas El Fallal’s Inspiring Journey

Enas El Fallal

Enas El Fallal is not your typical actress. Balancing a powerful role as the Executive Director of the President’s Office at the American University in Cairo with a growing acting career, she is redefining what it means to follow multiple passions. Her journey, filled with early sparks of creativity, personal transformation, and inspiring achievements, proves that it is never too late to return to what you truly love.

A Spark Ignited in Childhood

From a very young age, Enas El Fallal was always performing. Whether she was acting out scenes for her family or playing characters alone in her room, she was constantly immersed in a world of imagination. Movies brought her a mysterious mix of emotions — joy, excitement, jealousy, and even a strange nostalgia for something she had not yet experienced. It felt like her soul was calling out for something bigger, something deeper.

That deep emotional connection led her to realize that acting was not just a hobby but an essential part of who she is. Even as a child, she sensed that she was not just watching stories unfold; she was meant to live inside them.

A Workshop That Changed Everything

As life got busier, Enas drifted away from acting. Between growing responsibilities and her professional career, she forgot the little girl who once performed in front of her mirror. But one day, her brother reminded her of that passion by tagging her in an acting workshop. This small gesture turned out to be the spark that reignited her dream.

She remembers vividly the moment she first stepped into the acting hall — the lights were dim, music was playing, and something in her just clicked. “I felt that was my place,” she says. “Since then, I have been introduced to my real self every day and with every scene.”

The experience not only reconnected her with her creative side, but also helped her see life more clearly. She was able to resolve long-standing personal issues and relationships. “It was like I was filling my soul with people and things that didn’t really make a difference. When my soul was finally filled with true passion, I realized I no longer needed those things.”

This is why Enas strongly encourages others to attend acting workshops — not just to learn the craft, but to grow on a deeply personal level. “It’s useful at many levels,” she says.

Life in the Boardroom

By day, Enas leads one of the most important offices at the American University in Cairo. Her role as Executive Director of the President’s Office requires vision, leadership, and grace under pressure. It’s a demanding job — but one she handles with confidence and care.

Many would think it impossible to juggle such a career while pursuing acting, but Enas embraces the challenge. For her, every role — whether in an office or on a set — is a chance to tell a story, inspire others, and connect with something greater. This balance between two very different worlds makes her life richer and more meaningful.

From the Stage to the Screen

Since reigniting her passion for acting, Enas has played powerful and memorable characters that continue to resonate with audiences. Among her most notable roles are Abla Afaf in the TV series Laih La2, Om Wel3a in the 2025 Ramadan series Welad ElShams, and Elham in the 2025 series Zolm Elmastaba.

These performances allowed her to dive deep into different emotional landscapes, showcasing her range and dedication to the craft. Each character offered her a new way to understand humanity — and herself.

Lessons from the Journey

Enas believes deeply in enjoying the process rather than chasing external rewards. “What truly brings me joy?” — a question she often asks herself — has become the guiding force in her acting journey.

She’s also learned to trust her intuition. From her childhood love of performing to her decision to walk into that dimly lit workshop, her instincts have led her to the right places at the right time. The best decisions, she believes, come from within.

Acting with Integrity

For Enas, acting isn’t about fame or leaving a mark on the industry. What matters most to her is staying true to herself, respecting the audience’s intelligence, and performing with honesty.

She believes viewers can instantly sense authenticity. Her performances are never about impressing — they’re about creating real emotional experiences that people can feel, connect with, and c
