Following the October 7 assaults on Israel, French President Emmanuel Macron urged on Tuesday for the international coalition fighting the Islamic State group to be expanded to include Hamas.
Countries should fight against Hamas:
During talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Macron stated that countries fighting IS “should also fight against Hamas.”
Following the crisis sparked by the deadly Hamas assaults and Israel’s reaction, the French president emphasized the need for a “decisive relaunch” of the Palestinian peace process.
