Sherika De Armas, a former Miss World contestant who represented Uruguay in the 2015 edition of the beauty pageant, passed away at 26 on October 13.
She had been battling cervical cancer for two years. Sherika’s brother, Mayk’ De Armas, confirmed her passing on social media with a heartfelt message, “Fly high, little sister. Always and forever.”
