Budget Airline Launch to Shake Up UAE-Pakistan Airfare Market
Fly Jinnah, a low-cost carrier from Pakistan, is set to start services between the UAE and Pakistan, offering more affordable options for the route. Starting February 17, the airline will operate twice-daily direct flights from Islamabad to Sharjah, with initial return fares showing a competitive edge in pricing. As a budget airline, Fly Jinnah allows 10kg of hand luggage, with additional services like checked baggage and meals available for purchase. This introduction is expected to intensify competition and potentially lower airfares, providing relief especially during peak travel seasons for the 1.7 million Pakistani nationals in the UAE. Fly Jinnah’s fleet expansion and in-flight entertainment options promise an enhanced travel experience.
