Etihad Airways is making it easier for travelers to reach exciting new destinations in the United States. The airline has announced it will launch direct flights to Boston and Seattle later this year, expanding its presence in North America and offering more choices for its passengers.
Starting October 27, 2025, Etihad will operate non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi to Boston Logan International Airport. This route will be followed by a second launch to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, with flights beginning on December 2, 2025. Both services will offer travelers convenient connections between the Middle East and two of the United States’ most dynamic cities.
This expansion reflects Etihad’s broader growth strategy for 2025 and beyond, aiming to strengthen its global network and meet increasing demand for travel between the UAE and the U.S.
Why Boston and Seattle?

Etihad’s entry into these markets will provide travelers with more choices and make it easier for U.S. passengers to visit the Middle East, Asia, and Africa through Abu Dhabi’s growing hub.
Flight Details
The Boston service will run four times a week, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Abu Dhabi in the morning and arrive in Boston the same afternoon, allowing passengers to make the most of their day.
The Seattle service will also operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Travelers can enjoy a seamless connection from Abu Dhabi to Seattle, arriving conveniently in the afternoon.
Both new routes will be operated using Etihad’s modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency, spacious cabins, and state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment. The Dreamliner offers Business and Economy class seating, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
Boosting Abu Dhabi’s Position as a Global Hub
