Dubai’s RTA introduced a new weekend-only bus route, W20, to facilitate easy access to Al Mamzar Beach from Stadium Metro Station, operational from Friday to Sunday between 5pm and 11pm. This initiative, aimed at enhancing the beachgoing experience, complements RTA’s efforts to optimize public transportation routes across the city, improving efficiency and reducing travel times for daily commuters. Such strategic enhancements in Dubai’s public transport network underscore RTA’s commitment to providing convenient, efficient, and accessible transportation options for residents and visitors alike, contributing to the city’s reputation as a top-tier global destination.
The RTA plans to enhance Dubai’s public transport by modifying bus routes for improved passenger experience. This includes extending Route F62 to Dubai Festival City and Al Garhoud, extending Route C04 to the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, and offering direct services to Global Village via Routes 103 and 106. Route E303 will be rerouted for efficiency. Additionally, routes 16A, 16B, and 64A will be discontinued, with journey time improvements planned for 13 other routes to ensure faster travel times. This is part of RTA’s ongoing effort to expand and integrate the public bus network with other transport modes
