Elie Saab Collaborates with Riyadh Season for Exclusive Fashion Event

The renowned Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab is set to take the Riyadh Season by storm in 2024, following a groundbreaking agreement with Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA). This alliance promises an exclusive blend of fashion and entertainment, set to captivate visitors.

The memorandum of understanding, marking this unique collaboration, was signed in London. The signatories were Faisal Bafarat, CEO of GEA, and Elie Saab Jr., CEO of Elie Saab. Present at the signing were Turki Al-Sheikh, GEA chairman, and Elie Saab himself, signaling the high importance of this event.

This partnership heralds the launch of a special Elie Saab collection for fall 2025. This collection will be inspired by the vibrant spirit and cultural richness of the Riyadh Season, integrating local inspirations with global fashion trends.

Turki Al-Sheikh, GEA chairman, expressed his enthusiasm: “In Riyadh Season, our goal is to partner with leading figures across various sectors to enhance our entertainment offerings. Fashion is a critical component of this vision.” He also extended his gratitude towards Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, and Hamid bin Mohammed Fayez, Deputy Minister of Culture, for their contributions to this endeavor.

Elie Saab conveyed his excitement about joining the 2024 Riyadh Season. “We are eager to create an unprecedented and innovative event to celebrate this significant occasion in Riyadh, a city that fosters creativity and cultural diversity in the region,” said Saab.

In 2023, Elie Saab expanded his brand presence in Saudi Arabia by inaugurating a flagship store in Via Riyadh Mall. This luxury mall is known for its unique experiential and architectural offerings, perfectly aligning with Saab’s brand ethos.

Riyadh Season, since its inception in 2019, has become a global attraction, drawing millions of visitors worldwide. It offers a diverse array of zones featuring entertainment, music, and sports, making it a cultural hotspot.
