Eid Al Adha 2025 is approaching, and Dubai has announced several helpful changes to make travel easier during the holiday. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has shared details about free parking and updated public transport timings. These changes are meant to help both residents and visitors move around the city smoothly during the celebration days.
Free Public Parking Across Dubai
Dubai will offer free public parking throughout Eid Al Adha 2025. From Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, drivers can enjoy parking in most public areas without paying.
However, multi-level parking buildings are not included in this offer. These facilities will continue to charge regular parking fees during the holiday period.

Dubai Metro and Tram Extended Hours
To help people reach their destinations more easily, the Dubai Metro and Tram will operate on longer schedules:
Dubai Metro: All Red and Green Line stations will run from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) between Wednesday, June 4, and Saturday, June 7.
Dubai Tram: Tram services will operate from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) over the same period.
These extended hours will make it easier for people to attend family gatherings, visit places of worship, and enjoy city events during the holiday.
Bus Service Adjustments

Some changes have been made to intercity and public bus services during Eid:
Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi) will be suspended from June 4 to June 8. Passengers can use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station as an alternative.
Route E102 will go directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. It will not stop at Ibn Battuta or Musaffah.
If you plan to travel by bus during Eid, it’s a good idea to check route updates using official apps or websites to avoid confusion.
Marine Transport Services
While full marine transport details have not been announced yet, travelers are encouraged to check for updates before planning boat or ferry rides. Timings and routes may change due to the holiday.
Customer Happiness and Vehicle Testing Centres
Customer service and vehicle testing centres will have special schedules:
Customer Happiness Centres will be closed for the entire Eid break. However, smart self-service centres at locations like Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office will remain open 24/7.
Service Provider Centres (for things like vehicle testing and registration) will be closed from June 5 to June 7.
Testing services will be available during this time only at selected locations:
Tasjeel Al Tawar
AutoPro Al Mankhool
Tasjeel Al Awir
Al Yalayis
Shamil Muhaisnah
All service centres will fully reopen on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Understanding Eid Al Adha

Eid Al Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most important holidays in Islam. It honors the story of Prophet Ibrahim, who showed great faith by preparing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command.
During this time, Muslims gather for prayers, share meals, and give to charity. The festival is also a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate.
Making Eid Travel in Dubai Simple
Dubai’s decision to offer free parking and extend public transport timings reflects the city’s commitment to making Eid Al Adha a joyful and convenient celebration for everyone.
Whether you’re visiting family, heading to prayers, or simply enjoying a day out, these measures will help make your travel easier and more pleasant.
Take advantage of these updates and plan ahead to enjoy a smooth, happy Eid Al Adha 2025 in Dubai.
